I've decided to team up with Steve Lee at Lone Drake Outfitters to offer my clients some outstanding spring snow goose hunting. We'll be traveling the state of South Dakota from the southern border to the northern border to stay under the birds. Daily scouting is a must to have consistent success and this is our strong point. We have a maximum of 7 blinds per field for a more personal hunt. In the spring of 09 our clients enjoyed a 38 bird per hunt average. We harvested 961 snows in 25 hunts with our lowest day being 8 snows taken and our highest being 90. Our 2009 waterfowl season has drawn to a close. We ended up taking 626 Geese, 23 Banded, And 289 Ducks, 14 species, For a total of 915 birds taken in 66 hunts. Happy holidays every one and I look forward to hunting with you all next season!! -Phil Schmidt
